Love the air...hmmm...fresh.
Amazing capture.

Magnificent! I really like how you captured the heights of these trees. The fogginess is a bonus in this shot, great picture!

Great atmosphere!
I regret the bush lying here instead of a human presence, or a leading road.

I love this image! It's just stunning, I'm even more impressed that it was shot on film.
The only thing that stops me from adding this to my favourites though, and this may seem like a ridiculous thing to you, is the frame. I think a simple white border would look much border, that thick line against the black is distracting for me.
But beautiful capture, you were in the right place at the right time.

As you can see from my gallery, I seldom use borders. I have been giving them more thought lately because it does seem to give the piece a more finished look. But I worry that the wrong choice in borders can really hurt not add to a photo. And the purest in me says the photo should stand on its own. I see you use borders sometimes, but not always, how do you decide? I am so flattered that you took the time to comment. Your work in stunning and inspiring!
:iconbowlingforrainbows:
Well I think it comes down to personal choice. A frame like you said, can make or break a piece. In this case the particular border you've chosen seems quite bold, but in contrast the image itself is quite understated and subtle. It's purely that line going around the border that distracts me. Oh no worries at all! This piece caught my eye and I just had to!
